About
Otto Petersen is a creative consultant and founder of The Creative Operator LLC, a practice focused on helping organizations manage and execute marketing, design, animation, and video production projects. His work often centers on improving creative workflows, supporting internal teams, and helping ideas move smoothly from concept through production.
With a career that began in broadcast media, Otto spent many years leading creative services teams at NBC, CBS, and Paramount. During that time he worked across branding, marketing campaigns, design systems, and large scale content production, collaborating with news, sports, digital, and sales teams as well as partners such as the Los Angeles Lakers, Dodgers, Rams, and Chargers.
Today his work extends beyond broadcast into corporate and financial sectors, where he supports organizations with creative operations, project management, and production oversight. The focus is simple: help teams stay organized, communicate clearly, and deliver strong creative work.
Otto grew up in New York City and studied at The Cooper Union School of Art, where he earned his BFA. He remains proud of his involvement with the Paramount Veterans Network, supporting programs that benefit the veteran community.
He enjoys collaborating with teams that value thoughtful design, strong process, and creative work that makes a real impact.
